The first Free First Friday

Schedule a free 30-minute session of Strategy Coaching on Friday April 5th.

Imagine being the person who invented s’mores. They want their friends to know all about them, because they’re super excited about what they came up with, and they know their friends are going to love them too. So naturally, what do they do so that their friends know what s’mores are and can also love them?

They write a whitepaper of course. And post it on their site behind a lead capture form with a double opt-in to their email list. And then they promote the whitepaper by sharing out the table of contents on social media, careful to put the link to the landing page in the comments of the post and not the body of the post, because the algorithm doesn’t like links in the body of the post.

Or they could, you know, invite their friends over to make some s’mores together.

If you like s’mores you’ll love strategy coaching. I have lots of conversations with people explaining what it is (and what it isn’t) but it’s not really until people try it that they get it. So more people should try it. Enough clients have asked for a free trial session before starting that now I just offer it once the conversations begin anyway.

Now you can try it even before you have a conversation with me. I’ve cleared my calendar for Friday April 5th and made it easy to book a 30-minute trial coaching session with me. I’m calling it Free First Friday. The plan is to host it each month for the Coaching-Curious.

So go ahead and sign up if you’re thinking about hiring me as your strategy coach. You’ll have a much better idea of what it’s like.

And go ahead and sign up if you just want my help getting through a rough patch of work right now, and have no intention of actually paying me, ever. Trader Joe’s gives away a ton of sample Chicken Biryani to customers who don’t buy it and they do just fine.

Schedule your time here if you’re interested. Don’t wait too long though - spots are literally limited by the number of hours in the day.

Ready to share graphic for your Slack channels, colleague text backchannels, and whatever the frig Teams calls their chat function (I’m so sorry for you, my Teams people.)
